I'd imagine you can connect it using a PC Video capture card. Whereby it records the video coming in instead of a native Freeview stream.

It's not something that the Recorder is designed "with it in mind" though.


I suspect he wanted to stream it to a pc using usb or ethernet or similar , to transfer recordings etc

so no it cannot be done

you could use a video capture card and record composite or rf depending on the card used , or use a dazzle or an easycap or some such similar usb adapter to send recordings to the pc ( composite to usb )

but its simpler to burn direct to dvd-rw and then load into a pc from its dvd reader/writer
