RDR-HXD770 for freeview in New Zealand

Hi everyone,

I moved back to New zealand last year and brought my Sony RDR-HXD770 with me. I have tried to get NZ freeview but am only receiving analogue signal.

I can connect to either a satelite dish or UHF antenna and am in a good coverage area in Wanganui.

My questions are; Can I use this digital freeview in NZ? Would changing the region settings help? Would the latest firmware help? (is currently 1.65)

Please can someone help/advise.

Probably won't work because of slightly different standards.
These refer to Australia but AFAIK New Zealand is the same.

Turns out I am in a DVB-S area also so I have invested in a satelite receiver.
