Has anyone discovered the discrete Pronto codes yet for the Optoma Rd50?
I just copied them in.
from where, pray tell?
I mean separate on and off codes, not a toggle on/off code.
ps, I'm quite pleased with my new RU980
Oh I see what you mean now. Steve has a few button combos for certain functions (little diamond steve), mainly aspect ratios and all inputs.
I am glad to hear you are pleased with your new pronto. I'd be lost without mine.
How long have you had your pronto?
They are in the sticky in the Optoma section , I've no experience with pronto's or programable remotes so i'm not sure if it's what you're after
A couple of days Razor, though I built my screens up while waiting for delivery.
I'm also having my Optoma ISF calibrated next week, should be good.
Steve, what do you mean by "They are in the sticky in the Optoma section" ?
Sorry Steve, I know what you mean now.
it's no help for me though (although I didn't know the engineering codes were in the public domain now)
Sorry mate what do you mean ISF?
Prontos can take a while to program.
C u've found the Optoma section: I would have been happier if i was able to find out the age in hours of the bulb without going into the service menu, so much scope in their for wrecking your picture.
Let us know how you get on with the ISF calibration not sure if it has any advantage over doing it by eye or using an Avia DVD as the colour tempreture of the RD50 seem's very good .I will be very interested to see the settings they come up with
Sorry... still don´t get it ... where can I find the information?
Look in the thread on the top of all the other threads, it does'nt get knocked of the top spot when a new thread is posted so they call it a sticky.
Each of the DLP sets has a section near the top of the page the Optoma section is the third post in the thread
Thank you steve!
Chris if you do get hold of the codes could you post to let me know. Optoma might be your best bet.
Maybe try Optoma USA they might be more on the ball.
this maybe what st_ve was hinting at back in Jan
