RCA audio out not working

Hoping someone can shed some light on this. I've just replaced my old Samsung 32" bedroom TV v with a Samsung UE32T5300.
I use Sony wireless headphones that plug into the red/white RCA connectors and it transmits a great signal to my headphones.

This means I can watch TV whilst the Mrs is asleep. Problem is, I am not getting any audio signal!
I've tried changing the channel on the headphones, I can't find anything in the TV settings.

Does anyone have any ideas?

The phono / RCA sockets are audio / video IN

Audio OUT is via Toshlink Optical.
