I will shortly be getting a Panny D4.
I have been following peoples posts about the DR. John Sim boxes, which looks very good.
My question is, can I connect a ON-Digital box using the RGB signals from the SCART to FOUR BNC's.
SCART Panny D4 BNC
Pin 15 ---- RED -------- RED Signal
Pin 13 ---- RED GND ---- RED GND
Pin 11 ---- GREEN ------ GREEN Signal
Pin 9 ---- GREEN GND -- GREEN Gnd
Pin 7 --- BLUE -------- BLUE Signal
Pin 5 --- BLUE GND ---- BLUE Gnd
Pin 20 --- Comp Sync --- Comp Video
Pin 18 --- Comp GND ---- Comp Video GND
All my equipment outputs RGB, and I have got a SCART RGB switching box.
Also I would like to connect a PC on the VGA input.
a) Will the above cable work if the D4 menu is setup correctly to sync on Comp ????
b) Do you need the Comp Video lead, could you use sync on Green ???
Best Regards,
Bluebear.
