RAW Electric

    I'd been struggling to think of an entry for this months comp and suddenly it came to me in a flash......literally :eek: :eek: :eek:
    Fixing some batons to the wall this afternoon, I carefully removed a socket and put the wires out of harms way in a junction box. Then started to fit the baton in place, automatically drilled through my pilot holes and straight through the wire :eek: :rolleyes: :(

    A flash of light and my drill stopping told me I'd done something wrong :oops:
    Fortunately no harm done to me or my drill.....only bought the thing this week :rolleyes:

    Here's the result, cropped in photoshop.
    Slightly blurred though at point of impact..........and no I'm not doing it again to get a better pic :p

    That is my idea aswell, I work at a nuclear power station so I want to take a pic of RAW electricity, ie. where it is made.
    I only got my camera yesterday and I am working so haven't had time to get any shots yet. :(

    This shot looks like it has suffered from over sharpening IMO, good idea but the processing has done the shot no favours.

    I've changed the pic to the original RAW shot, apart from being cropped, no editing done :)

    This is about as Raw as it gets taken from the garden of my fathers house in lincoln.
