Cas, your suggestion that The Last Duel was comparable in quality to The Martian shows just how subjective these reviews are.
I did like the first season of Raised, and if s2 is a 7/10 it'll certainly be worth watching. Probably binge it over two/three days.
Apologies. I missed “maybe”. Funny how one word makes all the difference.I think that inference is not born out in anything I wrote mate, in fact quite the opposite.
Absolutely. I'm almost sure I watched the whole of season one but struggling to recall itIs anyone else getting to that age where they feel they have to rewatch the entire first season of something like this just to properly understand the second?
Highly unlikely. It‘s HBO. The best we can hope for is a picture that isn’t covered in compression artefacts.Available in UHD on sky?
IMHO it does get stronger as the season gets into the second half, so stick with it if you can.4 episodes in and I don’t know what to make of this really. Season 1 was kind of mental, but generally in a good and interesting way. Quite enjoyable I thought.
This is just a bizarre 90’s sci-fi show mashup of lost in space, Star Trek and Max Max. All of the interesting concepts and mysteries from season 1 that made it compelling seem to have been mostly forgotten about.
And for Christ sake, the most strange and frustrating thing is - why hasn’t anyone said ‘Marcus, what the hell is up with your face mate?’
Absolutely. I'm almost sure I watched the whole of season one but struggling to recall it

Yep, definitely agree with that and would be good in general for TV series. I was trying to find some good recaps on Youtube but the quality is very hit and miss and having the same problem with Better Call Saul which has had a bigger gap.I'm 5 episodes in to season 2 and although I'm kinda of enjoying it I have no idea what is going on.
There should have been a "previously on Raised by Wolves" before season 2 started, especially when you have to wait 1 year plus between seasons.
Up to episode 7 of season 2 now and some things annoy me
The sea is acid and in this acid sea live these strange horrible aggressive looking lizard monsters so why the hell do the people keep visiting the shoreline? Surely the spray from the Acid sea would give them all 3rd degree burns anywhere within 100 metres of the sea splashing against the rocks?
Where did the humans who didn't want to be governed by Mother go to? Is there a nearby town down the road?
