Guys!

Can you advice about SSD is it too early to go for it?

Any pros and cons

Razor: your exp. with it?

I am looking for this for Windows 7. I mean want to have something good before I will clean intall it later this year. Right now using RC and I'm quite happy with it. Will 60gb will be enough for it?:confused:

Thanks

Well done on the tidy up. I see you have done the wise thing and hidden allot of the cables under the mobo. :smashin:

I am happy with SSD and 60gb is plenty for your OS and apps. My SSD is just over half full.

Its a nice upgrade but not an essential one. :)

A lovely cable tidy job

How loud are the RAM fans and the tiny one on the heatsink?

Also, what happened to the Noctua's?

Good old floppy! :D

Just bought from ebay for about £7/=

Was thinking to install XP 64 with RAID support as backup.

Hope this will work, tried by USB but that didn't work

Hi,

Anyone having problems with Windows 7 Ult. x64 media files playback issues?

Except .mkv file any video I play... shows small squares instead of smooth playback.

Any solution?

Thanks

coming soon m8 :smashin: I have the pics, just finding the time to upload everything to my server  I'll get there in the end :boring:

A couple of pics from my build...

1st few are taken with my camera phone and are of the 1st build using an Asus P5N-mx and E700 Compro Tv card and Radeon 3450 GFX card on an E2160 @1.8Ghz with 2x1Gig crucial ballistix.

Second set of pics are of my current updates, Gigabyte E7aum-ds2h on the same cpu with 2x2Gig OCZ Platinum DDR2 with same E700 tv card and now Nova SD2 satellite card. Removed the radeon and using onboard gfx.

Working all fine for me.

Follow this guide to get all your files working correctly:

ProjectHTPC - HTPC Software Advice

Obviously you can ignore the MediaPortal stuff if you're not using that. KMPlayer is definitely the best choice to use.
