Question RadioShack Super tweeters with Wharfedale Valdus 500 Floorstanding Speakers or not?

Hi, I’m just about to take delivery of some Wharfedale Valdus 500 Floorstanding Speakers to use for my front left and rights. I have a Denon AVRX2600H with a centre speaker as yet to be sourced and 2 rear surround satellites from an older system. I also have up firing atmos to the front left and right.
I had wired in these RadioShack tweeters with my old surround sound system and was wondering...do I need them now...or would they improve my planned new set up?
Your thoughts would be very much appreciated.

As you own the tweeters and shortly the speakers can you not test whether you need them or not? You ears in your room, ours ears aren't there.

I just didn't (don't) know if it'll do any damage to the speakers or AV?

Noooo, but I didn’t have an Audyssey microphone to confuse the set up.
