Just scimming through the listings on the old sky box & noticed that RH are on Jools on Friday 11:35 BBC2 & immediately after (12:35) a one hour special on BBC4 (no doubt to be repeated on BBC2 in the coming weeks)

    Thanks for the tip.
Had a ticket to go and see them in Edinburgh, but didn't go. Had to watch Celtic in the UEFA cup i'm afraid. Girl from work went instead and said it was awesome.
Looking forward to this on Friday.
Now, i've heard there may be an hour long documentary on Sunday about the Smiths/Morrissey. Anybody else heard about this?

Okay people,I seem to have got carried away here.I respect the fact we don't all like the same thing and am now going to leave this thread alone.I just don't get it with Radiohead,to me they're one of the most boring, over rated bands on the planet. But if that's your kind of thing, more power to you,I'll leave you to it now.

I really like the new radiohead album, and OK Computer and The Bends are both awesome.

As you say, each to their own: I personally find Metallica incredibly tedious (along with most American heavy metal/rock bands: there's a reason why the majority of the top 10 earners in the States last year were British).

True - each to their own.
I think the reason I don't like them is that I tend to take a dislike to anyone/anything that is over-hyped. Therefore I don't like Radiohead and don't like Lord Of The Rings (I got burned at the stake a few months ago for suggesting that LOTR was crap :D )

Yep, self confessed Radiohead fan. OK Computer is my fave album of all time! Yes, ALL TIME!!! :zonked:
Kid A and Amnesiac were interesting, but i must admit that it don't listen to them that often.
Now for some exciting news, i have just read on Onetel that Morrissey has a new record deal:clap:
True, his solo material has been patchy (i'm being kind!) but it will be nice to have him back.
I'm sure it will make John Peel happy at least...
And whatever your opinion of the man, he has been responsible for some of the best music/lyrics in the past 20 years without question.:smashin:

Love the smiths, but oh boy did Rourke and Joyce get a bad deal. On his own i thing he's garbage. Johnny maher's done more since the split for me.
