I haven't found any paper publication that shows in some detail, all the Freeview channels' programme schedules covering a full week. Even the BBC publication 'Radio Times' only shows sketchy details of many of the Freeview programmes (radio and TV). The on-screen services are only good for 24-hours. It's handy each weekend to see what to listen to and to view for the week ahead. Any suggestions please?

    Yes in brief:

All News channels: The War; The War; The War ..... (repeat)
All holiday programmes: Tenerife; Algarve; Cyprus; Greece..... (repeat)
All shopping channels: Jewellery; Kitchen gadgets; Jewellery.... (repeat)

I think you'll find the rest in the Radio Times. ;)

    www.onthebox.com

Gives you at least a week in advance for TV :)

Have you also tried the Radio Times on line? www.radiotimes.com

Freeview's EPG is supposed to be becoming a 7 day in advance affair soon though :)

What's 'digiguide'? Is it available on the newsagent's shelf?

As a family we generally find it much more convenient to check a paper programme guide rather than go to the trouble of going on-line, or to interrupt viewing/switch-on to see an on-screen display.

    Hence my initial query.

Digiguide is an excellent tv guide program you run on your computer that automatically updates itself when you connect to the Internet. It shows detailed program listings upto 2 weeks in advance and covers all the freeview channels (and many more). It can be fully customised so you can select favourites and highlight what to watch in advance and it will then remind you nearer the time. You can download it from www.digiguide.com and use it for 30 days free, then if you like it you can subscribe to the service for just £6.99 a year. Give it a go. :smashin:

Hmmm......not really what I wanted, but I do appreciate your time and trouble in trying to help me.

With 5 people in my household, it's very useful to see the 'Radio Times' marked up by each of us to show what we're interested in viewing and recording in the week ahead. Promotes family harmony!!! Or at least avoids some conflicts!!!

I'm beginning to think that there is no weekly magazine publication that covers all the Freeview channels and programmes in adequate detail...unless somebody out there knows different...? Please...?

    Thanks

No Freeview Times (tm) I'm afraid.

    Digiguide does do prints.

We just leave the PC on in the evening

Of the TV listings mag's I know of, the one with most channels is "TV & Satellite Week".

I don't know if it covers all of the Freeview channels, but it definitely has more than either TV or Radio Times.
