    Hi people,

Can anyone remember the name of the website that compares the R1 and R2 versions of the same film. I've been there in the past, and it compared them in a wrestling/boxing match style, with points judged in various categories, such as soundtracks, extras, aspect ratio etc.

    Anyone got any idea?

    Cheers,

    T

T-Force, whilst these are good sites they do not neccessarily mean that they have actually done a side by side review.

In Rewinds case it is very much down to packaging and PR material then user feedback. It is invaluable as a starting point but should not be used in isolation imho. T^ake U-571 for example, they say that the R2 is 1.85:1. Implying it is cropped.

In fact the frame of the 2.35:1 image has been opened up on R2 giving more top and bottom information to the picture. People may actually prefer this version. So sometimes it can be misleading.
