    Hi Peeps,

Now I don't know if this is common, so I wanted to check with you first...

I've just ordered my first R1 DVD! And I only recently brought my DVD player (2nd hand from these forums) Harmon-Kardon 25 - when I went to play the film, the colours seemed a bit muted and also some of the shadows or dark sections of the film seemed to me a bit pixalated...

Now I don't know whether I have a bad copy of a DVD or if this is a well known issue with my DVD player?

The film in question was Finding Nemo ordered from www.cd-wow.com so I'm not sure what to do....cause I have no other American DVDs to compare it with.

    Any help appreciated...

What kind of connection do you use? And what kind of format (NTSC/PAL) does your equipment support?
