Matt Brown enjoys a slice of 1980's cheese with the recent re-release of Top Gun: Special Collector's Edition. Does the film hold up well after all these years and will the DTS-ES soundtrack save the day?

Was the Dolby Digital the same as the original version or remastered like the DTS?

Unfortunately I don't know West, as I sold my original Top Gun a good year or so ago. I don't remember it being this good, but then that's nothing to go on.
