    Hello.

I'm thinking of getting a R1 player, could u pls tell me how easy/difficult it is to get hold of R1 discs over here? I don't like buying DVDs online, are there any shops with a good selection? If I would need to shop online, who is the best for choice/price (inc. shipping) I've used amazon before, but I wouldn't again

    Thanks..

I have a region 1 Toshiba SD9000 and have about 270 discs bought since 1997, almost all from The Disc Emporium (http://www.discemporium.com).

They aren't the cheapest but are always the fastest, with most titles arriving well before their US street dates. For older catalogue titles I sometimes use Play247 as suggested earlier.
