R the QuickView Maxtor drives really all that they are stated to be?

I would like to swap a hard drive in my new Replay TV. But all the literature on weaknees.com comes from Maxtor themselves. Basically they explain that the 5400RPM drives with only 2MB cache run cooler (they have special thermal technology), quieter, and they are designed for streaming video rather than designed for the PC.

Is this information True? Or will a 7200 (much cheaper) drive work just as well? I can understand that I may have to add a small fan or cut vents for the hotter hard drive, but what about the rest of their claims? Has anyone else dealt with this, or do you know where I can find the answer(s) to my inquires?

can see the claims at: http://www.weaknees.com/maxtor_quickview.php

    Thanks all!
