Can't quite believe this legendary actor has passed on http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/celebritynews/11666316/christopher-lee-dies-live.html As a villain in the prequels, he was an inspired choice. No doubt his friendship with Peter Cushing played a large part in his being picked for the role of the "charismatic Separatist leader". I remember him being interviewed ahead of the release of Attack Of The Clones (which the boy and I watched at the weekend - what a richly layered film it is) and he would give nothing away about his character, citing how he kept secrets during the war. Check out any number of interviews he gave about his role in Star Wars; he was clearly pleased as punch to be involved in the series and summed up the films perfectly in just one word: "magic". A sad loss to the film world, but look at the legacy he left behind.
