I have just finished reading a book, one of many by this author, it was made into a film, and was one of John F Kennedy‘s favorites.

What is the book or the film?

5 points to Jase and 5 to Bob.
You had to get it with a name like yours Bob 007.

Nice to see Ian does not mind stating what he reads.

Any body knows what happens in the next book Dr No as 007 at the end of this gets kicks with Rosa Kleb poisoned shoes. I read it some years ago but forgot what happened; by the way I know he lives.

    Here’s an other film/book question.
There was a book out quite some years ago called I AM LEGEND; they made at least two movies based on it, the second more loose than the first. Anybody knows what the two films are?
The same author wrote a book about a shrink that was made into a film what was that film?

You’re right, not wrong bob. (I take it you meant The Omega Man the loosely based one!).
Are you really called Richard Matherson? :D
I will give you 5 points each for the first 2 questions, and 10 for the cryptic one.

All right then how about this one.

Famous horror writer, writes a book about a dog. It’s made into a film (not a horror film).
    What’s the film and author?

    Garrett,

The book you are referring to is James Herbert's "Fluke", I believe.

The film was given a "PG" rating here in the UK, and starred Matthew Modine, if I remember rightly.

That’s the one, full 10 points to you.
Have you read it by any chance? I found it a nice change from his normal books, and was set in England not America..

Which Bond film was James Bond given a drink, and asked, “that was stirred not shaken” and told it was correct. And any idea who that the actor was who made the drink?
