How quiet are you guys managing to get the Pioneer using the utility?
I know it makes it quieter than normal and this drive is recommended a lot but I have a Toshiba 1502 on my HCPC and a Pioneer 106s on my office machine. The Toshiba seems to spin at a barely audible speed, whereas the Pioneer is very obvious.

The reason I ask is that new case designs are appearing that like to use the Pioneer because of its slot feed, which gives a very clean look. I would have no problem switching drives if I can get the Pioneer as quiet as the Toshiba which on it's downside has a very noisy tray action.

    What are your observations.?
