I've just signed up for quidco but I'm not really sure I understand it..

Can someone please explain to me the saving I would make on a game for £39.99 ? I know the quidco website says 9%, but I get the impression you don't actually get the full 9% because of other factors.. ?

I'm interested in buying left 4 dead which is listed at £39.99, but what would the price be after quidco ?

Cheers for any help guys ! :smashin:

Looking at my past earnings you'll get £3.60, make sure you get a reward card as well to get almost £2.50 worth of points on a £39.99 pre-order.

The last game I bought at Game via quidco was £29.99 (9% quidco)

    I got £2.70 from Quidco + 300 Reward Game Points (worth £0.75)

I would suggest checking out find-games to make sure you are buying for a good price then going through quidco for the added saving. Don't forget though quidco isn't an instant saving and can take up to 3 months to get the money back, use it enough and you will get a monthly pay though :smashin:

But at 9% you should get £3.60 back on a £40 purchase as above :)

Just make sure you keep an eye on the tracking. I have one order tracking (not from game) that is refusing to payout, insisting I haven't ordered from them!! Quidco have been very poor at trying to resolve the issue and it equates to around £8, which is a nice amount of cash to have back.

So far I haven't had any problems with items from Game tracking or getting paid out.

If you just joined you won't get any of that 9% as quidco charge a £5 yearly charge so if you only make £3.60ish then you won't get it, you have to make over £5 in the space of a year before you get anything back as thats their admin fee.

Actually Game pay 9% of the excl. VAT price and Gameplay (who are owned by Game) give 9% of the incl. VAT price. The points you receive from Game make it roughly the same on normal purchases with double points on pre-orders making Game the better option.

    cheers, count
