Quickie About Amp!

    Ok if i bought this amp

    Its the 1707, now i has loads of video inputs, if i plugged all my inputs such as freeview, wii, dvd player into the amp and then the amp into the projector would this bassicly then work as a video splitter i would be able to switch between each pice of equiptment?

    Yes it would, an AV receiver is designed to act as a hub for your system so that all switching can be done through one box.

    Not all amps allow outputs to two displays though, so you may need a seperate splitter if you want to run video to both your projector and TV from the amp.

    It works as a video switcher, however can it convert S-Video and composite inputs to component out?
