    morning people ,ive a quick question .
    looking to replace my ageing yamaha 1065 ,have found a denon 2312 [£150]
    thinking thats a great price ,worthwhile being the question

    No, your current receiver is a higher tier model than the DEnon receiver. You'd be replacing your current model with a lesser model.

    thanks very much ,im on the lookout for one ,if you could spare some time ,could you think of an [upgrade] in the region of say £300 or so ,pre owned is fine

    It would have to be secondhand because a new comparative model to your current receiver will cost you about £800 - 1K. Even if looking at older models ypou may have issues finding anything better than your current receiver for just £300????

    Think ill maybe just hold onto it for a bit then ,ive not got a 4k telly so its not a big issue .
