Thinking of getting a Blu-ray player, been holding off for the last 12 months waiting, would you.

Get a PS3, I'm not sure of the sound quality?
Get a cheaper HDDVD player then get BD later?
Continue waiting for a dedicated player?

    Ooohh thats a toughie.......

The PS3 is Very Good to put it mildly, it does depend on what you want,

1)if you also like games, or connectivity to a PSP, Upscaled DVD, Dual HD recording, Picture and Music Storing/Distribution Etc. the PS3 is an unbeliavable Multi Purpose Media Machine.......

2)HD-DVD Is the Cheapest entry Level, Very Good Pic and Sound Etc. it depends on your budget.....

3)Should you wait for a standalone...... alot of us are !! .... but alot have gone the pS3 route due to it's multi purpose usability and it's handmedownability when a top notch Standalone turns up.... wether it be Blu-ray, HD-DVD or Dual Format......

The Choice they say IS YOURS........ Just don't sit back and wait.... jump in and ENJOY

(go bd... GO BD.... GO BD>>>.......) not really... only Joking :D
