Will windows media connect work with a wireless connection? If yes, would it stream music and videos? sorry, not really good with this kinda stuff.

Yes Media Connect will work over wireless.
But it only supports Music and Pictures, not Video.

You need Win Media Centre 2005 to stream video

Media Centre will stream video over anything as long as its up to it. For streaming video using wireless with Media Centre you need 802.11A (Wireless A)
