I bought my 65 yr old mother a Canon A75 a while back.

She's having a problem down sizing the photos to a suitable size for emailing.

What is the simplest programme or freeware that does 'Save to web' or one-hit size reduction?

I'm reluctant to instruct her to turn the camera resolution down as she will print the photos eventually.

    Thanks in advance

    Paul

    Hi,

Windows XP has a handy tool that automatically resizes photos and attaches them onto a blank email. Right click on a photo, select 'Send To' and 'Mail Recipient', it offers you a 'make smaller' or 'original size' option. It then opens a blank email with the photos attached. You can select between small (640x480), medium (80x600) and large (1024x768).

You can control click on a few photos and do them all at once.

Hope this helps (if she has XP!).
