Quick question from new 525 owner

Hi guys

Just got one of these yesterday and I love it. I just have a quick question regarding the activities.

When I start an activity is there a way to have the functions of a device appear in the LCD?

For example if im watching tv through the activity menu I am then left with only pg up and pg down on the LCD. To get all the options I want, I have to tap devices then tap my STB then all I need is on the screen, favourites, on demand etc.

Is there a way to get all I need to appear at the touch of the one activity button?

Thanks in advance to anyone who can help!

I'm sure somebody will be able to explain it better than me, but you need to go into activities setup and you should be able to add whatever buttons you want to the LCD, if it's the same as my 555, you can only have 4 on the screen at once, but you can use the scroll buttons to bring up the others.

Hi - It looks like you've missed one of the three basic options on the Activities tab in the software.
Select Customise Buttons, and then under Additional Buttons you can assign as many commands, from any of the devices in the activity, as you wish, to any location on the screen.
Activities are the only way that Harmonys are meant to be used, so the idea is to adjust them in detail to match all your requirements.
If you want any more information feel free to ask.

Did you have a few hours free 'yesterday' and/or 'today' to set it up?!

I'm no technophobe - I work in computer/electronics repair, etc, but I have to say it took me a few evenings of annoyance and frustration before I hit that 'eureka' moment with my 525! Maybe I'm a tad slow :(

It all makes sense to me now and I must say it's a rather impressive piece of kit :)
