    hi folks,
as you of you know I'll be getting a CHT-10R very soon...!!

I've just got a quick query regarding connecting it up - as with my Eltax this only had a phono - thus, when connecting it to my AV amp it was a simple single phono to phono connection,
but when I wanted to listen to CDs (with my NAD c350) I would use this same phono lead but plug it into the main out(? - I forget the name now!!) and the sound was ok...

but my understanding is that the velodyne uses Line-level and speaker-level which can be used for this purpose..??
so, would I use a different lead again..??

I guess I'll find the correct solution here -

in the meantime I'll do a search on this forum - work permitting!!

    cheers!

I believe with high level connections you run the speaker cable for the front l+r speakers from the amp into the inputs on the sub, and then another set of speaker cable from the sub's outputs into the speakers themselves.

You will have to :rtfm: as it will tell you if your lucky enough to be able to connect both (hi and low level) at the same time so you can have it set up for stereo and movies at the same time:D
