    Hi
This is probably an extremely stupid question, but bear with me - I don't know which is why I'm asking :D
Regarding personal CD players - can all modern ones play mp3's burnt to a CD, or MUST they say "mp3" on the player?
I know it seems obvious - but I've been told by someone in Curry's (I know  ), that they all play mp3's if burnt to a disc, and the ones that actually say "mp3" just mean that they have the extra capability to directly download mp3's to the player.

    Thanks

I think you know the answer. They do need to say MP3. There are a few that can record straight into mp3, not sure about that download bit.

Some still cannot even play CD-R which is the disks you normally have your mp3 files on.

Currys advice - is that not an oxymoron?
