Couple of quick ones please for the lutron installers out there :)

1- i have just aquired a grafikeye 3506, can i connect standard low voltage halogen lighting to it? I was going to use mains voltage spots, but LV would be easier. The quide says i can , but im not 100% sure im reading is correctly :)

2- PELV cable. I want to connect the 3506 to another control unit... its only literally though a brick wall, so the cable is going to be very short.... can i use CAT5e cable to do this?

thx

Kev

2) i have used plain Cat 5 wire. Works great. Do not know if it is legal and fireproof to run this trough the cable tubes in the wall like i did.
Have installed a 4-Button European-Style Keypad with Infrared Receiver

1) not sure. I use a 3006 and it has 230 volts in (live neutral and ground), and 6 outputs. (live and neutral) It does not seem possible to use low voltage halogen directly.
I use Halogen with normal 230 volts.

For low level you seem to need a Electronic Low-voltage Power Interface:ELVI-1000

But someone who sells and installs them can inform you better i think.

No problems, we are on these forums to help each other.

Like the Lutron ? If you have a pronto or other learning remote you can use 16 scenario's in stead of the 4 accessable via the buttons on the 3506 or the lutron remote !
