Quick help with video editing

I'm at my mates house now,
got few hours before we leave to watch the Arsenal Match,

i just copied over 3 matches onto the Macbook Air,
but need to do 2 more,
i dont have any video editing software on this,

using handbrake to compress the video files so i can put them onto the touch or iphone,
i got 3 matches which i just want to cut out all the goal's,
is there any free software or trial base software i can quickly use now just to do this,

Why not iMovie?

iMovies doesn't support the video format
so have to convert it before i can use it,
