Quick help please

I have recently brought a samsung 5.1 surround sound system but i'm a little confused.

The speakers are labelled front right, front left etc. However, is this from my perspective or the the TV's.

Anyone know?

The left and right is from your perspective sat looking at the TV.

Yes the same applies to all speakers.
