Hi All,

I'm thinking of getting the DS Nintendogs package for my daughter's Christmas present (though they seem to be sold out everywhere at the moment)

I was just wondering if there were 'dead pixel' issues with the DS, similar to the more widely talked about ones on the PSP.

It just so I know if I can buy one from anywhere and stash it away for xmas knowing that it should be perfect.

Thanks

RDB :)

dead pixels can happen in ANY LCD screen

But Nintendo have acknowledged it, and unlike Sony will replace even if you only have one, as long as you're within warranty

I didn't realise that, its very generous of them. However dead pixel problems are quite rare, so you'd have to be pretty unlucky to find one or three.

Thanks for the replies guys.

When I buy one, I'll give it a quick check over and if anything on the screen seems amiss, I'll take it back and exchange it.

RDB :)
