    Starring the awesome Zero-X craft which crashes, demolishing a village and an oil refinery at the end.

    1) 36 years isn't long enough after the film came out and
    2) people would expect anything less from Derick Meddings.

    I guess Thunderbirds is so old that it's being rediscovered by a lot of folks.
    But hey everyone, a guy called Derick Meddings did the SFX for series like Thunderbirds, Joe90, Captain Scarlet etc and there's pretty much always a huge explosion or 3 at the end of every episode. :)
