Going shopping in 1 hour, shall i pick up a 3rd party Component cable or should i wait for a Official one.

Read that the official one give a better picture.

    Any views?

    Anyone tried both and compared?

    Thanks

I don't have my official one yet, but I just bought a Game own brand one and the picture is very, very good......It wouldn't be money wasted if you want it now....

I don't see how people can compare cables if they only own one brand of cable.

Theres only one person that I've read about on the forum that owns a Madcatz and official cable and he said there was no competition (as expected), the official cable PQ was superior even though the Madcatz cable was thicker.

Traditionally official cables are always the best with very few exceptions. If your desperate to get a component cable then theres no option, you'll have to get a 3rd party one, if you can wait then get the 1st party one from an official source in January (£22) or order one from Ebay now and pay a little extra (£33ish).

I'm going to go straight ahead and say whichever cable you'll get you'll be happy with the results, most people will say Nintendo's one is gives out a better Picture quality just because it's first party even though they have no way to compare them.

    That settles it.

Couldn't even find a 3rd party one anyway.

Well I have a Game Component cable and while the quality is good I wouldn't call it stunning, a tad blurry imho. I'll be interested to see some forum comparisons with the official cable once it becomes more readily available.

I have the official cable and the GAME one and agree with the earlier post in that the official is a bit more stable and sharper.

Not a huge amount in it though. But if you have the choice go for the official.
