..which was delivered this morning by John Lewis.

They installed it and connected up my Skybox and Video.
The question I have is: My Skybox hasn't been connected up as an EXT source. If i go into the menu options and look at Digital Devices - it says none. I change it to EXT1 and get Sky in much better detail. Now I am getting a Tosh Sd210E DVD player next week. How do i then connect this up to a RGB EXT device as well ?

    Thanks for your help.

I hope this makes sense. Please let me know if you need more info.

    Cheers

    Paul.

paul, i have the 28pw9616. I have my cable box connect to scart socket 2 (ext 2), dvd is s-video AND ext 1 (i get to choose ;o) My video goes thru the telewest box (i think!)

No point in having your video connected to ext 1 or 2 which are the rgb inputs... use those for your sky and dvd (if it has RGB output, mine doesn't (

Best setup, if it does have RGB is probably dvd to ext 1, connect the digital out on the dvd to the digital in on the tv (coax), then in the menu select digital source as ext-1 plus digital. You'll then get rgb quality piccies and great dolby digital sound. Connect your skybox up to ext 2 (and make sure it's sending rgb - the tv will autodetect this)

Doesn't the vcr connect via the skybox? if not, then connect to ext 3.

Top tip - get some decent scart cables... trust me, i'm no expert but they make a difference. Ixos do some good ones, about £33 depending on length.

    Good luck.
