Hope everyone's well. I posted this on reddit but I expect better responses here.
I've been going back and forth on this for the past 2 week. I'm looking to buy a new TV for my bedroom (previous was a Hisense U7A that died). I'm from Pakistan so options are rather limited. I have a dimly lit room, no direct sunlight once curtains are drawn, and I like watching movies with the lights off.
Questions. I've been reading and watching reviews that all state the importance of high nits for good HDR/IQ in general. Does all that matter much in a dark room?
My TV options:
Do I really need a brighter TV in a dark room to enjoy 4K content? Any recommendations are welcome.
