Could owners of the Hitachi 32LD7200 help me out by answering the following?
    1. How are the black levels on this screen? In a dark scene on a DVD, do the blacks look black or is there a greyed over effect?
    2. Can the PC VGA input support progressive scan?
    3. How does this compare to similar models? (i.e. the LG RZ32LZ50 or the ViewSonic N3200W)
Thanks for all your help in advance, you could help me decide on which model to plump for!

I have had this set for about a month and am vey happy with it. The blacks look as black as black can be. I only use the component input for dvd and the RGB for my sky+ so i don't know about your other questions.

Thanks for your comment; how about the progressive scan function? Is it mightily impressive? Have you experienced any problems with this LCD? I'm only sceptical because I have to return my Videoseven 32" because of a fault with the progressive scan function. :(
