Questions about Harmony 1000

Hi,

How do i go about programming my 1000 to tell it what mode i want my amp in (i.e. when i turn on the dvd, i want a specific mode)?

Also how do i put own pictures on the buttons, change the location of the buttons and change the background?

For the first question, select "Settings" for the activity, then "Review the settings for this activity".

Select "Yes, but I want to add more control...."

Click through and you will get to a page where you can add commands to the activity start and/or end sequence. Add your receiver mode commands here.

haven't got this remote so can't say for sure but from previous research I don't think you can ... all you can change are favourite channel logos and the background screen - not the buttons I'm afraid ... you'd need something like a pronto for that ...
