Having recently spent a small fortune on upgrading my AV set up, I was curious about current and future DVD players and DVI/HDMI.

My current DVD player is the Arcam DVD88Plus, which has no DVI (or HDMI) output available, where as my Pioneer 433MXE display does.

If anyone can help, I wondered what DVD players currently support DVI/HDMI outputs, and also which manufactueres were planning to introduce models with these features in the near future.

Also any way of 'seeing' the advatages of going all digital from source to display, as opposed to just reading about them?:smoke:

    Just in case anyones interested.

I just spoke to Arcam who stated that they are currently working on an upgrade path for the 88+, and presumably the 88 & 89, to support a HDMI output, not DVI due to its inherent limitations.

However, this is some time away, roughly a year (or slightly less) the chap thought.
