I had never heard of Homecast until your post.
They appear to be another Korean manufacturer (like Humax) and mainly for sale in Germany - I just read 2 German reviews.
I would be worried about support and general local info/support if you're based in UK.
The reviews seem to rate them pretty well on par with Humax though.
