Hi I have wired ceiling speakers via a 4 way switch box, I have a problem that one of the speakers in the bedroom will only work if I turn off the speaker in a different room, I’ve tried swapping wires over on the switch box but no joy, any ideas ? Thanks

Hi
It’s in a holiday home so the feed goes from back of hi fi to a neutrik speakon socket in the wall which then feeds a 4 way switch box, which then feeds the individual speakers in different rooms. I have replaced the switch box thinking this was the problem but still got the same fault of one speaker goes off when a different room is selected ( everything worked ok a few weeks ago ) thanks for replying

What i would do is trace each cable to check.

try testing the new speaker box as well

i would lay everything out. there is obviously some crossed wires somewhere
