I'm looking at getting an all-in-one home cinema system (space and wife dictates that a separates system is not a viable option) and I like the look of two or three systems. The Pioneer DCS313 is high on the list, and has a SCART connection, so no probs there. I'm also looking at the Panasonic SCDT310 which has no scart, only S-video and composite. But the reviews say this thing is the bees knees of all-in-ones, so I am very interested in it. There are also others I may consider, mostly without the required SCART! My question is this then: Whats the best way to connect one of these units without a SCART to a TV? Should I use an S-video to scart converter? Is there such a thing? Will the picture quality be as good? By the way, my TV is a panasonc TX28-PL1 with an RGB SCART on the back. I don't want to have any leads poking out of the front flap, where I believe the s-video connector is!!! Thanks for your help!
