    Hi folks,

About to purchase an RGB only scart lead and i have one question

Its to connect sky plus to my tv and i'm currently using the standard supplied scart which carries the signal to switch the picture format when it changes from wide to 4:3 etc. (i think the signal is carried on pin 8?)

Anyway what i'm wondering is will the RGB only scart still carry this signal to the tv or will i loose the auto switching? Is pin 8 wired on a RGB only scart?

    Thanks,
    Mick

I think it is pin 16, but it is a long time since I looked at the scart lead pins. In anycase, you should be fine with a RGB scart
