Question for Yamaha RX-V1400 / RX-V2400 owners

    Can the 7 band graphic equalizer in these receivers be used to alter the sound characteristics of the main front left and right speakers.

    I ask this as the manual says "Select GEQ to adjust the built-in 7-band graphic equalizer so that the centre, surround L/R and surround back L/R speakers tonal quality matches that of the left and right front speakers"

    Yes you can use the eq to adjust the front speakers. somebody correct me if i am wrong

    That's correct - I'm only running 3 speakers with a 2400 at the moment and the EQ works just fine.
