    Hi

Will the Pioneer 2011 be able to drive my KEF reference Speakers, the impedance ranges from 4 ohms (for the L/R) to 6 ohms for the other speakers.

I'm looking to upgrade, and am trying to keep below £1000.

    Thanks
    Antz

Nowhere near as good as a dedicated high quality power amp but you can bi-amp the fronts with this model [if using a 5.1 and not 7.1 set up].

I would suggest it will struggle with 4 Ohms, I haven't tried it for myself though. Maybe try a second hand higher end Denon or if you are lucky a Rotel 1075/1066 combo to keep it under £1000?
