not sure where to post this, there's no general?

i want to make a cd of some old recordings of my dad playing guitar. i've used avid symphony (at work) to edit the recording into tracks and added fades etc. now i want to export the sequences onto a cd. avid just exports to (i can't remember, maybe .mov and .avi) but what are cds? are they .cda? how can i make a cd that will take all track index marks etc across?

    thx

Uncompressed audio on a CD is .wav files.
To burn these files to a CD you need something like Nero. Select 'Audio CD' from the list. You just drag & drop the .wav files onto the CD area within Nero (or whatever program you have) and then tell it to create the disc.
