My Marantz SR7011 took a bit of a funny turn this morning and decided to play music full blast at 6 am while I was sleeping.

It was probably a couple of minutes before i got it stopped and now there's a slight burning smell from my new Q700 Uni Q drivers. Ive pushed all the drivers and haven't noticed and scraping or clicking noises.

When i push the top passive radiator in the Uni Q driver moves out but doesnt stay out as air leaks from between the mid and tweeter. I think its supposed to be like this but just wanted to confirm.

I'm hoping that no damage has been done and the smell is just because I've accelerated the burn in but I've read a bit about clipping an it sounds like exactly what has happened.

    Amp specs below

    number of poweramps 9
    Power Output (8 ohm, 20 Hz - 20 kHz, 0.08% 2ch Drive) [IMG]
    Power Output (8 ohm, 20 Hz - 20 kHz, 0.05% 2ch Drive) 125 W
    Power Output (6 ohm, 1 kHz, 0.7% 2ch Drive) 165 W
    Power Output (6 ohm, 1 kHz, 1% 1ch Drive) 200 W
    70% Guarantee [IMG]

    Speaker specs

    FREQUENCY RESPONSE 36Hz - 40kHz (±3dB)
    CROSSOVER FREQUENCIES 2.5kHz
    MAXIMUM OUTPUT 112dB (SPL)
    AMPLIFIER REQUIREMENTS 15 - 150W
    SENSITIVITY 89dB (2.83V/1m)
    IMPEDANCE 8 Ohms

The tweeters are definitely working but im very paranoid about any other damage so hoping someone can put my mind at ease.
    Thanks
    Scott

Could anyone give the passive radiator for the uni q driver a Push in to see if the uni q stays out or creeps back in please? I think I got away with it tbh as everything sounds fine but I would just like to know if it's supposed to be air tight or pass a little in the middle like mine.
    Thanks
    Scott
