Query re JVC LT32C31 + to extend warranty or not

    First poster here. House of Fraser are doing the above set at £1295 which looks like a bargain. Reviews have been fair to good although there was a problem with backlight leakage - could this have ben addressed by JVC and fixed by any chance? HoF are offering to extend the warranty to 5 years for approx £270 - is it worth paying the extra or what? Any advice on the JVC and the warranty dilemma would be appreciated.

    I would stick the £270 in a high interest account and use it incase something breaks. I see nothing in a LCD that is high risk breakage wise.

    Thanks for the reply. The more I read on here the more confused I become. I have a limited budget and realise that the JVC might not have the best picture in the world. However, at £1295 it seems to represent good value. If anyone owners would care to give me their opinion I'd love to hear from them! :)
