    Hello all!!!

I recently recieved as a gifttwo A'Diva Ti speakers and a TR-1 subwoofer.

Considering that I don't have anyroom  for an amplifier my question for you is : Can I connect the speakers tothe subwoofer ( in the label marked as " speaker level out " ) andfurther more the subwoofer( from label marked as "Line In" ) to mySharp Aquos LC-40LE830E through RCA cables?:lease:

    Is this possible and correctlyright?

As the gift was purchased and delivered from abroad, due to space limitation, the product were already opened and the boxes withuser manuals were thrown-away.

Thank you for your further answerand all the best ,

    Iulian

    P.S. I also attached a picture.

The speaker level outputs are designed to be used with the input and are there so you can connect a stereo amp that does not have a phono sub output. It will not pass a signal from the phono input to the sub, amplify it and then send it to the speaker output. The aim of those is that you connect an amp output to the speaker level input, the sub extracts the bass from the signal and then sends the rest of the amplified frequencies to the output to the speakers. So you will not be able to do what you want and you will need an amp if you want to use the speakers.

Thank you all for expalining me how this works.
My last question regarding this thread is :
If I'll acquire an Orb Audio Booster ( very small dimensions - suitable for me ) will it be compatible with my speakers and sub?

    Thanks.

So you require a Hi-Fi (Stereo) amp with at least two Source Inputs – and from what you say a small footprint unit will be better.

Any idea of a budget you would be comfortable with spending on the stereo Amp?

Can you confirm what audio Output options your TV provides - a link to the TV Specs online would be good.

If you can confirm you can get Stereo Audio Out of the TV’s SCART socket then look at the likes of Cambridge Audio, Denon, Onkyo or Yamaha for a budget Hi-Fi amp.

If you have to use the Optical out on the TV you’re going to struggle with your indicated budget or go with a budget multi-channel AVR – which is generally not going to sound as good as a dedicated ‘Hi-Fi’ Amp but will sport an Optical Input.
