Queen - Live At Wembley DVD can now be pre ordered from CD Wow for £13.99, or just over £12 if you go to the Hong Kong site.
Looks good. 2 disc set, DTS, full concert plus extras. [IMG]

Thanks for that idle link....i dont know what i would of done without it....i could'ernt be arsed to move the curser right up to the favorites bar and then scroll all the way down.

And as for the disk...WHERES THE WIDESCREEN VERSION......i'm sure they would of filmed it in widescreen.

    pre-ordered it anyway.

Looks like 9th June will be an expensive day with this new Queen dvd and new Radiohead and Metallica albums all out on the same day!

I'm really looking forward to seeing the Wembley concert in full though. Hope more unedited Queen shows are released in the future cos there's loads of amazing footage to choose from.

Ordered the Queen DVD, and Tubular Bells 2003, from the CD Wow Hong Kong site, and the total was just over £21. Can't complain! :)

No it wasn't filmed in WS.

It was filmed in 4:3 for Channel 4 TV.

And NO, we DO NOT want a 'pan & scanned 16:9' version like they did with Video Hits 1 DVD, which looked bloody AWFUL!

I wonder where the other concert for Channel 4 has got to? Milton Keynes 1982, I believe. Saw it once on C4, but was heavily edited, down to less than an hour. Love to see the whole thing out on DVD! :)

I still have this on VHS from when it was first aired on 'The Tube' in 1983. Still not the full version, but at around 80 mins it's much better than the butchered 45 min version that VH1 often puts out.

The tape still looks OK for it's age.
I recorded it on one of those old Ferguson videostar VCRs with the 'piano keys'!

There's also an Iron Maiden one due out at about the same time - I think I'll be buying some Queen and Maiden then :)
